Milestone Benefactors are individuals or organizations who have achieved a new giving milestone since the last Academic Recognition Weekend. These individuals or organizations have reached one of the following levels based on total gifts in support of the academy:
Premier ($5 million)
Presidential ($1 million)
If a benefactor has been previously honored at a particular giving level, he or she will become a milestone benefactor again once the next level of giving is reached.
If you qualify as a 2015 Milestone Benefactor, your formal invitation will include a Milestone Benefactor RSVP card. As a Milestone Benefactor, accommodations are complimentary, and you will have an opportunity to make brief, one-minute remarks at the Saturday night recognition dinner after Notre Dame President Rev. John. I. Jenkins, C.S.C., presents you with a token of appreciation.
Everyone is responsible for their own travel to and from Notre Dame, but once on campus, the University will provide meals and transportation to and from weekend activities.
Guests: Guests are invited to stay at the beautiful, recently renovated Morris Inn. A special room rate of $139.00 per night has been secured for University guests for standard rooms, and it is our pleasure to make the needed reservations. We ask that weekend guests be responsible for their hotel expenses.
Milestone Benefactors: For Milestone Benefactors, room reservations at the Morris Inn are complimentary, and it is our pleasure to make the needed reservations. (Please see definition of Milestone Benefactor above.)
For everyone in need of hotel accommodations, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Morris Inn for the evenings of Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st. If you would like to reserve a room, please be sure to complete both sides of your RSVP card or go online to RSVP, noting any special room requirements. You will receive confirmation of your reservation prior to the weekend.
